Prayer Chain
The prayer chain was formed many years ago out of the need for effective and fervent prayer for the immediate, urgent, or crisis events of our church family and the community. It is open to any who desire to join others in earnest and fervent prayer. It is for those who believe that God answers on behalf of those suffering, burdened or in crisis.

PUMP (Partners Uplifting MorningStar in Prayer)
This is our prayer partners ministry. It involves 3 levels of prayer ministry. First there is zone work. This happens Sunday morning from 7:00-8:45. Prayer partners start in the auditorium and pray on stage for the ministry of the worship team and anyone who will minister from the stage area including the speaker. Then they move to the floor and pray for the people who will fill the chairs. Next they move through the building and pray for the teachers, students, and ministry expressions (small groups and children’s groups) that use each room during the week. Then at 8:00 they meet in the pastor’s office for prayer. This is NOT an every week duty for each PUMP member; it rotates. Next there is throne work. This is prayer that occurs during the service and the message. This also rotates. Finally there is home work. This is a commitment to regular prayer time to uplift the ministry and people of our church. There is no more important ministry in our church!

Small Group Ministry
We want to see every person who walks through the doors of our church offered an opportunity to connect in appropriate relationships where they will experience acceptance, support, and a clear path for spiritual formation. We do not want anyone who is a part of this church to be or to feel alone, even if they are currently serving somewhere in ministry. If that kind of vision causes your heart to pulse more quickly, you are in the right spot. Small group leaders gather several times a year for a small group leader’s refueling time. The 2 best ways to investigate small groups is to talk to the contact person or to visit a group.

Sound/Lights
These volunteers run the sound and the visual projection equipment during any service or event we offer. This includes practices and time before and after the events. In addition some volunteers aim and maintain the lighting system we have here.

Words/Projection
These volunteers are the ones who allow the congregation to see the projected words as we sing together at any worship service. These faithful servants work behind the scenes by attending the worship team practice on Sunday mornings and by operating the computer during the service from the sound booth to project the words as we sing.

Worship Team
Worship team members are the gatekeepers of the worship experience for our congregation. That means that week by week, they are inviting and prompting congregational members to enter the very presence of God in worship and wonder. In any true worship service, God is the audience; congregational members are the performers, and the team members are the prompters.

Welcome Center
These volunteers are the great connectors! They connect our new guests with the people and print/video resources they might need. That is why they present a smile and a warm welcome to guests as they enter the front door on Sunday mornings. They might take families to classrooms and introduce teachers to parents and children. Giving directions to restrooms and offering a bulletin is also part of their role. Guests may also need one or more of our brochures or a Bible or a Jesus video. We try to be sure each guest family leaves with a small gift.

Valet Parking
Although our building has a user friendly entrance, we wanted to make getting in even easier. That is why we have a free, valet parking service. Just drive up in the circle drive, and one of our responsible, adult valets will park your car for you. It is only few steps to the front door.

Youth Group Ministry
This is a ministry to 6th-12th graders. The 9th-12th grade group, LIFE (Living in Faith Everyday) meets most Sunday evenings at the LIFE house (just east of the church) from 6:00-8:30pm. The Junior High group also meets at the LIFE house on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm.
